GROW Fund for Grassroots Organisations to Flourish

Overview of the GROW Fund

Firstly, the Grassroots Resilience Ownership and Wellness (GROW) Fund is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to strengthen the capabilities, resilience, and future readiness of grassroots organisations. In turn, it enables these organisations to drive meaningful change within disadvantaged communities at the grassroots level.

Importantly, grassroots organisations play a critical role because sustainable change rarely succeeds when imposed from the top down. Instead, the GROW Fund promotes bottom-up decision-making approaches that empower communities to lead their own development processes.

Furthermore, as funders, the programme has a significant opportunity to guide participating organisations towards maximising impact. Therefore, the GROW Fund encourages organisations to operate efficiently, remain sustainable, create measurable impact, and effectively reach underserved communities.

Sustainability and Organisational Development

In addition, the GROW Fund focuses on sustainability, organisational development, and long-term readiness. Its primary objective is to sustain operations by covering critical organisational costs. Moreover, it builds future readiness to ensure long-term institutional stability.

Strategic Partnerships and Capacity Building

Notably, the fund is anchored by the EdelGive Foundation, alongside a collective of reputable funding partners. Together, these partners aim to strengthen 100 high-impact grassroots organisations over a 24-month period.

As a result, selected organisations receive structured capacity-building support and assistance across key operational functions. In this way, the fund develops stronger, more sustainable, and resilient organisations capable of delivering lasting social impact.

Impact and Investment Approach

In addition, EdelGive Foundation seeks to generate up to 10 times the social impact by investing in partner NGOs. It achieves this through a combination of direct funding, capacity building, and strategic linkages to additional funding sources, both public and private.

Furthermore, organisations that embrace sustainability demonstrate leadership in addressing climate change and preparing for emerging regulatory pressures such as carbon taxation. At the same time, these organisations respond more effectively to evolving consumer demands while improving productivity and reducing operational costs.

Application Process and Support

Finally, applications for the GROW Fund can be submitted free of charge through the official website. Typically, funding support is provided over a 24-month period and is disbursed in two tranches.

However, each organisation may submit only one application, making it essential to prepare a strong submission. Therefore, organisations seeking to maximise their chances of approval can engage Dream Team Capital for professional assistance in developing a comprehensive and competitive funding application.
