CSD registration is the government’s official process for registering suppliers who provide goods and services to public institutions. Specifically, the Central Supplier Database maintains a comprehensive list of organisations, institutions, and individuals eligible to do business with government. To complete registration, you must follow a two-stage procedure, with each stage containing several steps. Fortunately, DTC can assist with CSD online registrations for tenders.
If you want to do business with the South African government, you must register with the CSD. This database serves as the single source of verified supplier information for all organs of state. In addition, it provides consolidated, accurate, updated, and complete details. Therefore, all prospective business owners interested in pursuing government opportunities must register.
You can self-register directly on the database. Once you submit your details, the system assesses your application for inclusion on the CSD. Moreover, completing the registration correctly ensures you remain eligible for government tenders and procurement opportunities.
